Dr Athena Tan , Root Canal Specialist in Petaling Jaya (PJ) graduated from the one of the Best private university, International Medical University(IMU) in 2017. She served her compulsory government service the same year and joined a private practice as a dental associate the year after. Having offered a position in one of the prestigious university in Singapore (NUS) , she chose to pursue her Master’s degree of Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Endodontology) ie Specialist in Root Canal treatment from the National University of Malaysia(UKM) and is currently a Lecturer at International Medical University (IMU) and Top Endodontist in L&M Dental Clinic Clinic PJ and Dr MeiLuk Dental Clinic which located at Petaling Jaya, Ara Damansara and Subang Jaya . She has been an active member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh since 2020. Dr Tan has won a few awards during her undergraduate and postgraduate studies namely
- 🏆Best Poster Presentation in Malaysia-International Dental Exhibition and Conference (MIDEC) 2016,
- 🏆 Best Poster Award in 11th Asia Pacific Dental and Oral Health Congress 2016
- 🏆First Prize in Dental Olympic in 62nd International Association of Dental Students (IADS) World Annual Dental Congress 2015,
- 🏆 GSK Sirius Achiever Award for Distinguished Performance in Phase II of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree program in the International Medical University,
- 🏆 Best poster award at the Penn Endodontic Global Symposium by MIES 2023 and Malaysia Endodontic Society Annual Scientific Meeting 2024.
Dr Tan is passionate about research and development and has published in various journals in the field of endodontics. During her free time, she enjoys swimming and watching movies.

Dr Nicholas Soh, our Best Implant specialist in Dr MeiLuk Dental Clinic PJ received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in June 2010. He then obtained Master in Dental Surgery in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery ie a Specialist in Wisdom tooth surgeries and Dental Implant . He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (FFDRCSI) in the field of Oral Surgery with Oral Medicine which was conferred in December 2014.

In 2006 Dr Nicholas Soh was awarded the 🏅 Best Paper for his research entitled “Microbial Ecology of the Root Canal System”.

Dr Nicholas Soh is currently a Member of the International Society for Internal Fixation (AOCMF). He has been practicing in Hospital Selayang as a Clinical Specialist in Oral Surgery since 10 years ago (2015-2017)and till date practicing at Hospital Tuanku Ampuan Afzan as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
He is proficient in all core procedures pertaining to the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery including wisdom tooth surgery and dental implantology.
